Why hire a Part-Time Accounting Support Staff?

In the start-up and small business world it can be hard to decipher who does what and how much that should cost. Everyone starts by boot-strapping and wearing a lot of hats, but eventually (usually sooner than you think) you need support staff. It’s a complicated task to find one or two people to cover the level expertise you need, train them, and fit them into your budget.  

Starting off I was always fully tasked at every new full-time role prior to founding E-Squared. After a while that work load dwindled because I had solved the problems, implemented process, added technology, and eventually trained someone cheaper to do most of the day-to-day. This left me with less than 8 hours of actual work each week and I would wait around until my CEO graciously let me quit to take on the next adventure.  Basically a part-timer in a salaried position. Terrible set up for everyone!

So now here we are with E-Squared Partners. We provide you with high level experience and constant support, but you only pay for what you need, when you need it.

Our pricing is based on what I think is fair in the market and it does not fluctuate.

E-Squared Pricing:

• Controller - Emily Fletcher: $200/hour

• HR/Benefits Advising, Onboarding, New States - Emily Fletcher: $225/hour

• Accounting Staff: $50-80/hour

• VP Finance, FP&A, Assistant Controller, CFO, or other support from Emily’s network are negotiated based on the project.

* Tasks for the Staff and Junior level are delegated based on availability and skill needs at the moment.  We don’t always have a Junior on staff. Know that E-Squared is always trying to give you the best price. Billing is done monthly and by the minute. We are that precise!
